  • Practice streaks and activity

How We Use Your Data

All data is used solely to provide and improve the app:

  • App Functionality: To authenticate you, save your progress, and enable features like streaks and spaced repetition
  • Personalization: To select which words to show you based on your learning progress

Microphone Access

The app uses your microphone for pronunciation practice. Audio is processed on your device using iOS speech recognition. We do not store or transmit your voice recordings—only the resulting scores are saved.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers. Your data is stored securely in Supabase and is only used to provide the app's functionality.

Third-Party Services

  • Supabase: Authentication and database hosting
  • Google Cloud: Text-to-speech for French audio
  • OpenAI: Dialogue generation

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as you have an active account. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
